Innsbruck!

Derek and I went to Innsbruck after our group trip to Salzburg and this is the most beautiful place. The Olympics were here back in like the 60s and they need to be again soon so I can have an excuse to come back. It’s about half the elevation of salt lake but the mountains on both sides go up almost as high as the mountains in Utah. The Alps are amazing. The night we got there Derek and I walked around town and it happened to be a night of dancing and there were concerts all over. Sadly it was also raining. It rained on and off while we were here but that didn’t stop us. We jammed to some Italian pop before heading to our hostel and watching the sound of music. The next day we took two different teams up two different mountains and then hiked the rest. We then came across something called like the golden sky where they had athletes competing in long jump and pole vaulting on Mariatheresienstraße, which is the main shopping street. This trip has been the highlight of this whole study abroad honestly. I’m just going to dump a lot of pics and I think you’ll see why.
